Workers’ compensation and liability insurance savings
A. We pay the insurance costs on our employees. They remain employees of All Florida Staffing, Inc. (AFS) until the end of the current job. Any workers’ compensation claims made by an AFS employee while on the job are the responsibility of AFS and will be handled accordingly.
B. This means that claims will not adversely affect your workers’ compensation modification factor. This could result in lower workers’ compensation premiums.
Unemployment claims are non-existent
A. While Federal unemployment tax is constant at $0.80 per $100.00 of wage, Florida State unemployment tax can, depending upon the number of successful unemployment claims filed against your company, range from a few pennies to an astonishing $5.60 per $100.00 of wage.
